I Love Kisses is a bright, lovely picture book about all the ways we express love with a kiss. Cute lines like,"'Wake up, sleepyhead' kisses; Raspberry jam and bread kisses", are relatable to children and adults alike. With rhyming stanzas throughout the book, the story is very easy to read aloud and will engage little listeners. Bright, bold digitally illustrated pictures complement the warm words conveyed in the story.

Each page depicts a variety of people expressing their love through different types of kisses. There are people of different ages, races, and genders expressing love in this way throughout the book. Each page has, at most, two lines of simple text making it an easy book to read to younger children. As there are illustrations on every page with very few words, there are numerous opportunities to ask questions about what is seen on each page. The rhyming couplets are easy to read, and the bold illustrations make for an engaging book.

Recommended.
