I was very excited to receive a sleep time CD in the mail to be reviewed. I work in a preschool classroom where the children nap for two hours every day, and the cd we were listening to was starting to skip. The Sleepy Sky Lullaby CD is 42 minutes of pure joy. Eddie Douglas has a wonderful singing voice, and his songs lulled even the "non-napping" children off to dream land. The 14 tracks on the disk consist of a variety of songs, ranging from classics, such as "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Hey Diddle Diddle" (both songs Eddie has slightly modified and are each over three minutes long), and original songs, such as "Luna" and "Carry Me". I am from Guelph, ON, and was very happy to see that the musician is from Kitchener (a nearby city) and that the CD was distributed by Fat Flea Music from Guelph.

If you are looking for some quiet children's music or sleep music, I would highly recommend Sleepy Sky Lullaby.

Highly Recommended.

Ontario's Karen Higginbottom is the mother of two wonderful girls and a teacher to many.

(Editor's note: A supplementary version of Sleepy Sky Lullaby, with instrumental tracks only, is also available to order for school choir use. Catalogue # FFM 004; Retail Price $12.95.)
