This charming tale allows the reader a glimpse into a typical day for sisters. There is fun and adventures, but there is also the occasional squabble. These sisters play together, making cookies in the kitchen, dressing up, playing with boxes and reading. But despite the fun, big sister is unhappy to find her little sister in her room and then playing with her doll. The story ends with the sisters fast asleep, sharing a bed.

internal art     Award-winning illustrator Ruth Ohi is also the author of this charming little book. The short simple sentences make it a perfect reading choice for toddlers. The delightful rhyming text conveys a story beyond the simple words read. Young fans will quickly memorize this book due to the repetition used. The vibrant watercolour illustrations are simple but do a great job of telling the story for young readers.

Me and My Sister is recommended for preschools and public libraries. This title is a great gift for sisters everywhere.

Highly Recommended
