SEAGULLS IS MY TRADEMARK
Produced by Sharon Lee Chapelle
Volume 21 Number 3
Seagulls Is My Trademark is the story of eighty-year-old artisan George Fulfit, who carves and fits ships in bottles. The film follows him as he creates his two hundredth ship. Each detail is perfect, displaying his deep love for his craft. The film gives a positive image of aging with its sprightly gentleman and his delicate art. It gives glimpses of the experiences of many years in the artist's craft. Well photographed with appropriate music, it will entertain as well as instruct. Recommended. Michele F. Kallio is a former teacher and librarian in Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick. |
