This video is 24 minutes of candid "person-on-the-spot" interviews with a cross-section of Americans. Questions range from "Who is the Prime Minister of Canada?" (most responded with the name Trudeau!) to "What is the size of Canada?" The jacket describes it as "An anecdotal look at Canada through the eyes of the American public." It is being marketed as an educational tool for junior high to university.

Unfortunately, although the concept is interesting, the video does not work very well. It is too long, and too many of the responses display ignorance (Canada is the size of Texas?), rather than differing perceptions of Canada. Ten minutes of the best of the short interviews would have been sufficient to work as a discussion starter. The nine-page study guide is not particularly inspired, nor closely linked to the video. It contains grammatical errors and at least one factual error.

Not recommended.
