Then, forced to go on a fishing trip with his father, a seasick Edgar has a most mysterious vision of his mother with his father's old friend. Is Edgar Allan Poe trying to tell him something? Has he finally discovered why his sister Emilie bears no resemblance to him or his father? Should he tell his mother he knows her secret? Does he really want to know? What about the cat Emilie brought home one day? Did it really tell Emilie its name? How else could she possibly name it "William," the same name as her father's old friend?
