Scientist Richard Zurawski and his young co-hosts, Liam, Lori and Maya, use their five senses to explore the world around them in this up-beat program geared to children seven to eleven years old.

Zurawski leaves most of the program in the able hand of his co-hosts, appearing only briefly to introduce each segment. The program features a lively mix of factual information, interviews with other kids, tests and experiments, a formula that should appeal to an audience primed by TV.

The information is presented logically and it offers a genuine learning experience. The technical quality of the production is high; however, the writing is at times sloppy. Though the program has its merits, the price tag is steep, a fact that will no doubt limit its appeal for many libraries. Limited performance rights.
