Volume 19 Number 1
1991 January

A first collection of short stories, several previously published (in Tamarack Review, Aurora and Matrix) and one previously broadcast on CBC's "Anthology," focusing on ordinary people and their relationships with their families and with others around them. Everyday, ordinary events tell the stories of what touches these people and provide insight into what touches ourselves as well. Karafilly has received a number of awards for her fiction, which has been published in Canada, the U.S.A. and England.

The paperback is well made with large margins and clear, easy-to-read print.
