One wonders whether students will want to trouble themselves to try to absorb the stories in French when they are already so familiar in English. (This is merely a French narration of the English language set.) Probably a quick listen and an oral retelling would be useful... the whole group can join in. But as the books now have appeared in a French version, the value of this set is questionable. The manual gives complete text and teaching suggestions in French. Recommended with reservations.
