This little paperbound book and its companion volume, Crayons & Markers, are part of the "Tabletop Learning Series." They are written for children, with Gayle Harvey's excellent black-and-white line drawings, but they would also be invaluable for parents, teachers or child-care workers. Included are dozens of creative ideas for using boxes of all sizes for children from five to twelve. There are box mobiles, free-standing box sculpture, piggy banks, monster masks, a play house and many more. Worth a dozen "Transformers" in entertainment value. A good index is included as well.

Highly recommended.
