Fun with Nature is part of a nine book series written for children by Dympna Hayes and Melanie Lehman. It gives lots of ideas about a world of fun and adventure found as close as the backyard. Children will make exciting discoveries of nature—from creatures crawling under rocks to birds flying in the sky.

New concepts can be explored by the young reader in Fun with Opposites. The animals caught in humorous situations make the opposites amusing and understandable. Common opposites like "big and small" to opposites like "give and take" help the reader explore new concepts. The illustrations are bright, colourful, and detailed.

In Fun with Rhymes the rhymes conjure up delightful images of little people and playful animals from grumpy, hungry camels to jiggly pigs, to cats wearing floppy hats. The illustrations of mischievous, bright animals make this book of nonsense rhymes a favourite for any young reader. The illustrator, Annelies Davis, was born in Hamilton, Ontario, and has illustrated several of the Fun With . . . series as well as the illustrator of the Small Talk series. These three Fun With . . . books are delightful, educational, and exploratory as well as simple enough for young children.
