WORDS THAT TASTE GOOD.
Moore, Bill.
Markham (Ont.), Pembroke Publishers, 1987. 175pp, paper, $9.95, ISBN 0-921227-06-4. CIP
Volume 15 Number 5
This book is a highly personal collection of short bits of verse and comments organized loosely into eight chapters. Each chapter is intended to show some aspect of poetry, for example, "What is poetry?" "Poets work with words." An author index and a subject index are provided. The author obviously wishes to share and to promote his delight in language and poetry. However, the patchy notebook style makes reading difficult, even for the converted. As a book of quotations, it lacks comprehensiveness and a detailed index. Not recommended.
