Essentially, this study package consists of a Snoop starter kit and eleven theme kits (the publisher states ten) on birds, plants, insects, mammals, spring, summer, fall, winter, shapes, colours, and soil, and a colouring booklet not listed or described. Each kit is packaged inside a folded 56 x 44 cm poster with all the masters and user guide slipped inside. The master sheets are designed to be copied for individual student use; mainly cut, paste, and colour activities. The poster activity is a one-time only use. Not all the masters are clearly labeled, so that great care would be required to keep the units intact.

Students will need access to good instruction from teachers and leaders and from reference works as the two-page user guides provide very scanty information. Some of the examples are poorly chosen: the booklet for winter states; "W is for the word warm," "T is for temperature" (thermometer would be the initial response); for summer: "U is for unhappy," "M is for many." In the colour user guide, for red: "Sometimes in nature brightly coloured things are a warning of danger." and for blue: "The colour blue is common in the clothing we wear."

The publishers list three objectives, all of which would be better met by direct observation and original drawings and comments. Many of the drawings are cluttered and the cartoons are lacking in artistic merit. Nine of the set shave added a third colour to the poster and/or the poster cut-outs: lime green, orange, green, yellow, red, purple, blue, brown; otherwise everything is in black and white, including the unit on colour.

The publishers state the materials "are designed for children ages 5-8." but they could not be used as learning materials for the five or six year olds, and are unsuitable for any age. Not recommended.
