Volume 15 Number 1 1987 January Kathy Stinson's (author of Red is Best ¹) latest book does more than "celebrate the joy of being bare naked." It explores all the fascinating aspects of the human body, young and old, male or female. The text and illustrations go hand in hand to perfect these discoveries. Thus, one sees bodies that are running, jumping, loving, or happy. There is tangled hair, green and purple tongues, standing up bums, and many other delightful tributes to the different parts of our physical being. The book is busy, well balanced, and certain to stimulate interest and discussion. The illustrations are realistic and show people and their bodies interacting in loving, caring, everyday relationships and situations. What emerges very strongly is the understanding that bodies can be very different even though they share similar parts, but each one is unique and special to the person who lives inside it.
