Introductory pages suggest questioning and evaluation techniques. "Resource Sheets" cover eight topics from 1867 to 1982 and give brief data on Canada and individual provinces and territories. Thirty "Activity Sheets" include puzzles and ideas for assignments. There is a list of "Notable Canadians" in various categories and a brief bibliography. An accompanying "Cultural map and Timeline" is badly cluttered and distinguished by the same inartistic and often unrecognizable portraits that appear in black and white in the booklet.
