Naturally, the Soviet Union becomes worried, and eventually decides the only way to protect itself is to invade West Germany, Or is this the actual sequence of events? The book is rife with spies, agents, and double agents, so that the real story is only revealed a little at a time. Duplicity and doubledealing keep the reader guessing as to the final outcome, and as to how the Americans will react. There can be no doubt that Dennis Jones has written another thriller to rival Rubicon One* and Russian Spring.** It will keep you reading and trying to sort out the heroes and villains until almost the last page.
