He understands his role as author and the impact his stories have upon his readers. The audio allows the students to hear the actual voice of the author reading and discussing his books, and his motivation for writing them. He describes his enjoyment in using his imagination while writing stories. This presentation would be useful in making authors come alive as real people, in stimulating future authors, and even as a motivator for reluctant readers.
