"Studies of the history of the French and English Canadian families illustrated how technology, industrialization and urbanization and a multicultural society have contributed to new trends in Canadian family life." This series provides an excellent overview of the history of both the French and English Canadian families. The narration and the visuals combine to produce an informative and satisfying production. The teacher's guide includes the script of the narration and some suggested topics/questions for further discussion and research. Overall, this is a well-rounded survey and would be a most worthwhile acquisition. Recommended.
