The importance of the fishing industry to the east coast of Canada is stressed in this overview of the community of Lunenburg. Nova Scotia. The fish is shown going through the different stages of processing and packaging, from the time it is caught to its final place on the table. Although this kit supports the Canadian studies program in an area where very little print material is available, and is therefore a welcome addition, more information could have been included, e.g., on the different kinds of fishing vessels, methods of fishing, and the different kinds of fish that are caught in the Atlantic. Recommended.
