However, this workbook and guide are different. The teacher's handbook is particularly effective as it gives the teacher exact steps to take in structuring the classroom and the classes, with precise information about the test and the way to succeed in taking it. Anyone who has coached students in this test is aware that there are several problem areas. One is the fear of the testing procedure and the race for time in answering the various sections. The authors have detailed many ways to reduce this anxiety and to promote a secure attitude. They have also stressed that their workbook specifically deals with grammar and the types of questions that one would encounter in taking this section of the test. The other parts of the test are identified, and sources for both class and individual study are included. This.is an excellent resource for not only the conciseness of the examples and the suggestions for the teachers, but for its price.
