The subtitle of this magazine "A Digest of Resources and Groups for Social Change" tells it all. This quarterly publication indexes publications, groups, and other resources that deal with social change issues in Canada. It was first published as an independent non-profit project in 1976 and has continued, despite financial setbacks, since.

Each issue focuses on a particular theme in the first section. The themes for the examples were native issues and energy. Others have included: women and men, Canada-Latin America, children, and unorganized workers. The themes are introduced by a survey of what the editors feel are the most important issues relating to them. Each group, publications, or other resource, is described by an abstract of approximately 250 words. Relevant abstracts in earlier issues are noted and a bibliography is also included.

The second section is made up of abstracts of newly released Canadian books, pamphlets, films, groups, and other ' resources concerning social change issues. Each edition also contains an Announcements and Appeals section that covers events and causes.

In the examples, there were briefs on the Canadian Day Care Advocacy Association and on a special summer program on social changed education, in addition to updates of boycotts of Nestle and Campbell products.

The proletarian format of this little quarterly belies the wealth of information it contains. As such, it would be a worthwhile addition to any library where research is being carried on.
