Children enjoy craft books, and The Make Your Own Creepy Spooky Horrors Book will have a definite appeal to the young reader interested in year-round Halloween activities. The contents are varied and include a wide selection of "horrors" to make, ranging from bats to skeletons, spooky effects to horror foods, costumes and masks to games and jewellery. Whether the reader is looking for unique party suggestions, or fun, independent activities, this book provides ideas for everyone.

Any "how-to" book should provide clear, concise instructions. The Creepy Spooky Horrors Book, with its clear bold type, does just that. The effective, comical illustrations further enhance the simple directions, as well as allowing the beginning reader an opportunity to participate in the activities. The use of common materials, mainly paper, glue and scissors enables the child to easily create most of the suggested "horrors."

Halloween fun has great appeal to all children, and this is an excellent book to spark the creative youngster's imagination. It is a welcome addition to library or individual craft book collections.
