Friends can have wonderful times together! Three friends, a rooster, a pig and a mouse, live on Mudpy Farm and enjoy many adventures. In this book, one of a series of three, they visit a garbage dump where the mouse finds an old wagon and tries it out on a very steep hill. When it loses a wheel and crashes, Johnny Mouser is hurt, but his friends rescue him and take him and the wagon home safely.

This attractive little book has amusing, colourful illustrations printed on glossy paper, and it is sturdily bound. Unfortunately, the story line is rather weak and is not likely to be particularly appealing to youngsters. The translation from the German is awkward in several places, and the incidents in the story are really not very exciting. There must be better ways to spend your library's money.
