Bill Freeman and Christie Harris do the same with their stories, Shantymen of Cache Lake and Mousewoman and Porcupine Hunter. This personal background information greatly enhances the enjoyment of the stories. The series would be a most worthwhile acquisition for resource centre collections. Highly recommended.
