This work has the makings of a good reference to be used by the actual operators of word processors, or it could serve equally well as a reference for a teacher of business education. It does not lend itself well as a textbook for students learning word processing techniques, as it is very detailed in the area of types of word processors. This feature of the book, however, would be useful to those interested in purchasing word processors; several models and features are described.

The book is well-supplemented by ample photographs and exercises are given for the various tasks that may be performed on the word processor.

There are possibilities for this book to serve as a correspondence-type textbook for those individuals wishing to learn word processing techniques on their own. However, before anyone could adequately use this book he/she would need a good knowledge of typewriting skills and office practice routines.
