Harold Taylor is a time management consultant who conducts training programs on the topic. This book likely embodies some of the valuable advice he gives to business and office personnel on how to use their time effectively. Taylor's premise is that everyone has the same amount of time but their effectiveness depends on how productively they use that time. The book is interesting and easy to read. The advice, for the most part, seems to be very practical and would well be heeded by people in office occupations. Because most of the advice is directed to a very narrow audience—people in management positions in offices, much of it is irrelevant to anyone else. Although there are tidbits of good advice that are generally applicable, it hardly makes the whole book worthwhile to anyone not in Taylor's intended audience.

Not recommended for purchase for school libraries. The only use it might have in a school is in a business education course that deals with effective organization of an office system. It is recommended for anyone in an office position who needs help with making time ends meet.
