Well over 150 muffin varieties ranging from sweet to savoury are found in this terrific collection of recipes. And what a surprise to find ingredients such as cottage cheese, canned tomatoes, and cream of celery soup. Each recipe and its variations are presented clearly one to a page with all the ingredients given in both imperial and metric measure. The spiral binding allows the paperback to lie open flat. Besides the recipes, there is a section outlining the steps in making muffins, which incorporates the two bowl method of preparation. Another section provides helpful hints gleaned by the author over nine months of experimenting and testing in her home kitchen. Both sections add to the usefulness of the work. Mad About Muffins.
