Pre-School.

Volume 11 Number 1.
1983 January.

Aimed at pre-schoolers (part of the Annick Toddler series) this is a simple, attractive little book by Toronto author Kathy Stinson about a little girl who always prefers to wear red. ("My red boots take bigger steps." "Red paint puts singing in my head.") The coloured illustrations by Guelph artist Robin Lewis are < plentiful and appealing. The bound price seems steep for the slim size of the volume, but if the paperback will suffice, the book will appeal to youngest readers.
