After a short introduction by Gordon Pinsent, John Stark proceeds to narrate such Leacock classics as "Insurance As I See It." "The New Food," "The Card Trick," and "My Financial Career," in addition to several other lesser-known selections such as "Speaking Patois" and "In Dry Toronto." Sound quality is excellent. Students may consider some of Leacock's humour dated. There are biographical notes on slipcover.

Recorded live at the National Arts Centre.
